History
Stephanie Isaacson and Bill Bush believe in thinking big. In 2007, they began planning to step away from their respective corporate jobs and form their own environmental consultancy. With a vision of what might be, Stephanie Isaacson was ready to implement the plan they developed together. Bush wasn’t quite ready to take the plunge, and sold his part of the business to her.
Stephanie immediately began building the business, developing clients and connecting with mentors that helped bring business in the door. Meanwhile, Bill’s contentment with corporate employment waned, and he approached Stephanie about becoming part of the New Horizons team. Stephanie welcomed him to New Horizons as vice president in 2008.
The rest, you might say, is history. Since that time, Stephanie and Bill have seen New Horizons grow to be a significant player in the environmental services and remediation services sector. Today, their environmental consulting firm has 30 year-round employees, with as many as 60 employees during peak summer months.

Before joining forces in 2007, colleagues Stephanie Isaacson and Bill Bush contemplated the advantages and disadvantages of the existing environmental consulting and contracting firms, and wondered, “Couldn’t we do it better if we combined our complementary remediation skills, knowledge and experiences?”
Their positive answer to this question prompted them to start an environmental company that provided a comprehensive range of services, encompassing both consulting and remediation services. To fulfill their vision and be successful they developed their own business philosophy. That philosophy includes the following core values:
